Dr Mathias Uhlén is a Senior Professor of Microbiology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a globally recognized leader in protein science, systems biology and precision medicine. He is the founding director of SciLifeLab, founder and director of the Human Protein Atlas. He is also a serial entrepreneur with +70 patent applications and +20 co-founded companies, and has served on several public boards including Biotage, Alligator Bioscience, Bure Equity, Novozymes, Nordiag, and Amersham.
